We live a busy life just like everyone else. Homeschooling has been a challenge, we are looking at some other curriculum, not sure A.C.E. is working well for all our kids. Cory and Elli does fine, but Tanner and Skyler have a little more of a visual learning style, so we will see what happens. Tasha is still working at the Pharmacy down the road, but they keep cutting her hours. She only gets 15 hours this week. I have been looking for something else. I am just about to finish pastoral counseling class, I will be glad to have this one done. Only seven more classes until I finish my first degree! I am excited about that. We had a bunch of friends and family that went to the IHC convention this week, wish we could have been there, we love Dayton convention! Well update again soon.

This last September we were living in Logan, Ohio where we were youth pastors at Logan Holiness Church. September is Tasha's Birthday so I kind- of surprised her with a special weekend away. We stayed in a wonderful cabin at Camp Akita which is just about 8 miles outside Logan. I actually worked there and thus was able to use the cabin at no cost, as long as we made sure it was clean and ready for the next visitors.
Here we are leaving for a nice long hike. We were going UP to Bald Eagle. And boy was it ever UP! Two miles straight up to the highest point on the 1200 hundred acre property. We had so much fun that day, and I think Mommy and Daddy were the only ones that was really sore the next day :)
Hikes during the day and campfires at night,,,, we really had a nice time with Mommy and enjoyed our family weekend.

Greetings friends, I am writing to my family and friends to tell you about a unique missions trip opportunity I am a part of. I will be boarding a Missionary Flights International (M.F.I.) flight August 17th. with a group of other short term workers, to fly down to Grande-Rivière Haiti. I will be working, with the rest of the team, for a week to build new bunk beds for the boys who live at the Hope International Missions (H.I.M.) orphanage. I am very excited about the trip and have been busy preparing to go. Tasha and I have been sorting donations for the past two months that have come into H.I.M. for Haiti, and it is a very special privilege for me, that I now have the chance to be a part of the team taking the supplies to Haiti. Tasha and I are leaving bright and early Monday morning to go to Miami to finalize my passport. Pray for us we have a lot of paperwork to finish. You can be an arm extended by helping me to finance this trip, I need to raise about $500.00 to $700.00 for this trip. I am trusting that God will supply this need through your generosity and continued prayer. I look forward to seeing what God has in store. God Bless.
Donations can be sent directly to:

So Much to Catch Up On....
I have so many things to catch you up on. Our going away party, our trip here, Skyler's birthday party, pictures of life here, etc.... Hopefully I can do that soon. Right now the biggest news is that Greg is going on a work trip to Haiti to build bunk beds for the orphans. We will be getting his passport, Lord willing, on Monday. He still needs to raise the funds to go, but God knows that, and He will supply! Please pray for us as we have lots of things to do between now and the time he leaves. I will post more soon! Thank you!
